Cronulla superstar Nicho Hynes says it would mean the world to him to play for NSW in this year’s State of Origin series against Queensland.

The 26-year-old was outstanding leading his side to a 22-12 win over the Roosters last night at PointsBet Stadium.

Hynes who signed a six-year, seven-million dollar deal to remain at the Sharks until the end of 2029 last week toldĀ The Continuous Call TeamĀ he can’t wait to play for his state.

“It would mean the world,” Hynes said.

“It’s every kid’s dream, I sat in the living room watching the boys play and Gal play my whole life.

“I’d die for my state so I’d be absolutely honoured to play.”
