URGENT: Search for parents after newborn baby dumped in Sydney
Police are continuing their search for the mother of a baby abandoned at a home in Sydney’s west.
Officers said they are “really concerned” about the mother of a newborn, who was abandoned in a Sydney backyard on Friday, and have called for the public’s help to find the woman.
The newborn girl was found alone in the backyard of a home on Girra Road in Blacktown at about 2.30pm on Friday after a family heard her crying.
Police have told the Sydney Morning Herald that the parents are “not in trouble”, and just want to be located.
