Videos have surfaced on social media showing male Canadian lawmakers wearing high heels inside the Parliament of Canada, in an effort to raise awareness about violence against women.

The ”Hope In High Heels” campaign has received some negative feedback, with one voter saying, “This circus is not helping women. It’s men having a laugh.”

‘‘Canadian women, do you feel safer now? Or do you just feel that a bunch of virtue-signalling clowns are making fools of themselves?” commented another voter.

“They were smiling and giggling…And they think this will reduce domestic violence?” asked Ben.
