Chris O’Keefe has revealed the dire state of fuel security in Australia, as only two oil refineries remain in Australia.

Previous Minister for Energy and Emissions Reduction under the Morrison government, Angus Taylor, spent $100 million on oil reserves from the United States back in 2020, but as soon as the war broke out in Ukraine, it was all sold.

The 2GB Drive host is concerned on fuel shortages now, claiming the country is in “all sorts of strife”.

Australian Workers Union National Secretary, Daniel Walton, then spoke to Chris O’Keefe on why oil refineries need to keep operating in Australia.
