Service NSW in Haymarket is host to truly horrific scenes, after a 55-year-old worker was allegedly stabbed by an aggrieved customer.

The alleged perpetrator is a 37-year-old man who has been charged by police following the incident and was apparently already a known person to law enforcement.

The employee was stabbed multiple times and is in a critical condition.
