The World Health Organisation has stated that coronavirus is no longer a global emergency, after three years since the first cases were detected in Australia.

Chairman of Nine Entertainment and former Australian Treasurer, Peter Costello, has recently reflected on the pandemic, saying “We went too far”.

Looking back on the curfews, mask mandates, and funeral restrictions, Mr Costello asked, “How did we put up with that infringement of individual liberty?” in an interview with former Deputy Prime Minister John Anderson.

“I’m amazed that we did,” said Ben.
