Tonight in Melbourne, there’s a premiere for the ‘John Farnham – Finding The Voice’ documentary, which tells the story of how one of Australia’s greatest songs was born.

Gaynor Wheatley, the wife of Farnham’s music manager and friend, Glenn Wheatley, told Ben Fordham that the making of the documentary “was quite organic in how it moved with events”.

She also provided an update on Farnham and his health, following his lengthy hospital stay in March.

“His chest infection has cleared. He’s he’s okay. And it’s Jill’s first time basically out tonight in front of the media,” Gaynor said of John Farnham and his wife Jill.
