New Nationals leader Dugald Saunders set to change party
The new NSW Nationals leader Dugald Saunders has responded to the recent chaos which has spread throughout his party.
He justified his decision to include former leader Paul Toole in his shadow ministry, highlighting the importance of including people who are both qualified and experienced.
As to Ben Franklin’s membership in the party, Saunders explained that it is ultimately a party decision.
In response to Toole’s alleged deceptions, Saunders shared his own philosophy as party leader “I learnt a long time ago… Don’t BS, take responsibility, apologise and fix it”.
