Independent MP Dai Le and Fairfield Mayor Frank Carbone have teamed up and submitted an application for a new political party to the Australian Electoral Commission.

Mr Carbone told Deborah Knight that the Dai Le and Frank Carbone Network are “Here for the people in the Western Suburbs”.

He believes there is a lot more that needs to be done to improve the quality of life of people in the West, like improving healthcare services and increasing employment rates.

“Our community has rewarded us for being elected and we just want to pay them back,” said Mr Carbone.
