Tasered great-grandmother Clare Nowland dies in hospital as police officer charged
Cooma great-grandmother Clare Nowland has died in hospital on Wednesday night, shortly after police announced senior constable Kristian White, who allegedly tasered her had been charged.

The senior constable alleged to have tasered 95 year-old Clare Nowland has now been charged.
Ray Hadley revealed exclusively to 2GB the officer was to be charged this evening over the incident, after the investigation from the homicide squad had concluded.
The senior constable Kristian White is facing three charges, including recklessly causing grievous bodily harm. The 95 year-old dementia patient has been receiving end of life care since the incident, and further charges could come more should she die.
The 33 year-old officer had spent 12 years in the police force, and had been suspended with pay this week.
