Corey Horsburgh opens up on ‘very scary’ moment for teammate
Canberra enforcer Corey Horsburgh says he’s “never seen anything like it” after his teammate Corey Harawira-Naera suffered a seizure during last night’s win over South Sydney.
Harawira-Naera took a normal hit up and less than a minute later suffered a seizure 65 minutes into the clash, before being taken from the field in a medicab.
On Sunday morning, Harawira-Naera provided a positive update on his health after he was discharged from Westmead Hospital, saying he wasn’t in the clear, but was feeling a lot better.
Horsburgh told The Continuous Call Team he’s hopeful his teammate will be alright going forward.
“It was a very scary moment,” Horsburgh said.
“He put a message in our chat saying that he’s alright and what not. I think he’s going alright, I’m not sure if they know what’s happened yet.
“It was a very, very scary moment.”
