Mary Coustas has brightened up the Australian entertainment scene for years as her character Effie.

But after three decades, Coustas will be hanging up the wig, and she spoke to Deb Knight on why she’s done it ahead of a new one-woman show.

“I’m coming out of the closet, I’m going commando”, she teases ahead of the new gig.
