70% reduction of plastic bags affects Sydney Harbour
Industrial Designer Peter Ceglinski talked to Deborah Knight about the decrease of plastic in Sydney Harbour thanks to his company, Seabins.
Seabins use filtering processes to capture common waste such as microplastics, plastic bags, and chocolate wrappers that pollute Sydney Harbour.
According to Peter, the company has been “catching one plastic item every six seconds” in Sydney’s waterways.
