Nationals give their reaction to the Voice bill passing
Despite the ‘Voice to Parliament’ bill’s overwhelming passage in the Senate, the National Party, led by David Littleproud, remains unswayed in their opposition.
The passage of the bill in the Senate, by 52 votes to 19, has mandated a referendum within the next six months.
The National Party’s consistent ‘no’ stance has been unwavering since November and David Littleproud, unfazed by the bill’s passage, continues to advocate against it viewing the proposal as an additional layer of bureaucracy rather than a solution.
