Redemption the key for Zac Hosking and Panthers after Golden Point loss

Penrith Back-rower Zac Hosking says the focus in the lead up to last night’s win over the Knights was all all about redemption.

Last week, the Panthers fell short in a golden point thriller to the Cowboys in a match they’d dominated for the majority of.

But last night they turned things around without their five Origin stars and the injured Nathan Cleary, putting in an improved performance in their 20-12 victory over the Knights.

Hosking toldĀ The Continuous Call TeamĀ it was a pleasing performance.

“We had a bit of a theme for the week about redemption because we sort of through away the second half up in Townsville last week,” Hosking said.

“Ivan (Cleary) really had a lot of confidence in the same 17 guys to do a job against the Knights.

“We knew they were dangerous and had some stars in their side, so we are really pleased with that win.”
