NSW and Penrith enforcer Liam Martin says his determined to help the Blues avoid a State of Origin series sweep in game three at Accor Stadium later this month.

Last month, Queensland sealed the series in game two with a dominant 32-6 win at Suncorp Stadium and in doing so helped Billy Slater win his second straight series as coach.

But Martin told The Continuous Call Team he’ll be doing everything to help NSW claim the final match.

“Yeah absolutely, really determined,” Martin said.

“It’s been a pretty disappointing series so far and there’d be nothing better than to finish on a win in front of a home crowd.”

Penrith defeated the Storm 34-16 on Friday at Marvel Stadium to extend their lead on top of the competition table on 26 points.
