Manly boss backs big signing spree
Manly Sea Eagles CEO Tony Mestrov says he’s happy with the money the club’s spent after a multi-million dollar signing spree this week.
The Sea Eagles signed playmaker Luke Brooks on a four year deal, while they’ve also recruited Jaxson Paulo and Tommy Talau.
Talented centre Tolu Koula has re-signed as has Josh Schuster and Mestrov toldĀ The Continuous Call Team he’s pleased with the decisions they’ve made.
“Luke Brooks I think will compliment Daly (Cherry-Evans) really well,” Mestrov said.
“We think Josh Schuster, no matter the number on his back is, he can play the same as he’s always played.
“We’ve paid money on potential, a lot of people don’t agree with that. I feel his best footy is ahead of him.”
