Johnathan Thurston says Origin debutant has ‘trained the house down’
Queensland legend and Assistant Coach Johnathan Thurston says Maroons debutant Corey Horsburgh has trained the house down so far.
Horsburgh and AJ Brimson have come into the Maroons side for game three in place of the suspended Reece Walsh and injured Tom Flegler.
Thurston told The Continuous Call Team the man affectionately known as “Big Red” has impressed in Maroons camp so far.
“Corey has been training the house down,” Thurston said.
“Throughout this year he’s been creating lots of good habits in his game and he’s been rewarded with the jersey.
“I’m looking forward to the big fella getting out there, he’s pretty fired up and ready to go.”
