Ray’s bid to change ‘unacceptable’ NSW law helping paedophiles
Ray Hadley has vowed to reach out to NSW Premier Chris Minns and the Attorney General over a controversial New South Wales law that’s helping some paedophiles reduce their sentencing.
It comes after a Sydney Morning Herald report earlier this week documented the case of Kshetiz Bhati, who managed to get his prison time reduced on appeal after his sentencing judge failed to consider his “good character”.
Bhatia was sentenced to 10 years for abusing a six-year-old boy before that sentencing was cut to eight.
“It’s simply unacceptable,” he said.
