Anthony Seibold ‘relieved’ to get the win in Daly Cherry-Evans’ 300th game
Manly Sea Eagles Coach Anthony Seibold says it he’s relieved the club were able to celebrate Captain Daly Cherry-Evans 300th game with a victory.
Cherry-Evans became the 49th player to play 300 games and the 19th at the one club and has had a stellar career.
It was also hooker Lachlan Croker’s 100th game and Seibold told The Continuous Call Team the hard-fought 24-18 win capped off a huge week.
“It was good to get the result despite the Dragons making it really hard for us,” Seibold said.
“It was really special for Cherry and Croker to walk off the field with a win in front of their family and friends.”
