‘They’re taking forever and still getting it wrong’: Josh Morris slams NRL Bunker
Former NRL star Josh Morris has slammed the NRL Bunker following two controversial calls in the Dragons loss to Manly on Saturday night.
The bunker raised people’s eyebrows last night after a no-try call on Dragons forward Daniel Russell despite appearing to cross the line, while Jack De Belin was sin-binned for a hip drop tackle, minutes after the incident happened.
It prompted interim coach Ryan Carr to blow up in his post-game press conference and now Morris has called for a change to how the bunker should operate.
“They’re taking forever and they’re still getting it wrong,” Morris said.
“There should be a time cap on it I feel.”
Mark Levy also called for the key stakeholders after the Grand Final to sit down together and work out a solution to make it better.
