Cronulla premiership winner Paul Gallen believes Titans captain Tino Fa’asuamaleaui “could be the best front rower in the competition”.

It comes after Fa’asuamaleaui signed a massive contract extension that will see him remain on the Gold Coast for the next decade.

A member of The Continuous Call Team, Gallen believes the star forward is only going to get better and better.

“I think he could be the best front-rower in the competition, he’s such a good player,” Gallen said.

“He’s a leader, him and Payne Haas are the two best front rowers in the competition and you probably can’t split them.”

The Sharks defeated the Titans 36-6 on Friday in the Shire and lock Cameron McInnes played a key role in the win and said the club needs to keep building.

“We still have a long way to go but to get over that hump at this stage of the year is pretty important, we’ve got four games to go leading into the finals and it’s all there for us so it’s pleasing,” McInnes said.
