Young football fan Michaela Causer is dreaming of walking out at the World Cup with her idol Cortnee Vine as the Matildas play England.

Michaela is one of the mascots who will accompany the players to the pitch at Stadium Australia, and is hoping she’ll be paired up with penalty shootout hero Vine and her reason why is adorable.

“She’s a ranga like me and she showed me that I can do anything”, the starry-eyed football fanatic told Deb Knight.
