This year we mark 50 years since Australia ended its involvement in the Vietnam War. It is a chance to remember the sacrifice and service of our Australian Veterans.

The war had a major impact on how Australians look at war, in part thanks to the Redgum song ‘I Was Only 19’. That song this year turns 40.

As part of the anniversary, John Schumann told John Stanley that he’s worked on a new recording of the song alongside Australian folk band The Waifs.

John Schuman & The Vagabond Crew is touring in August, to find out more visit schumann.com.au
