Broncos Coach Kevin Walters has confirmed Captain Adam Reynolds and enforcer Pat Carrigan won’t play again until the finals in a couple of weeks time.

Reynolds missed Saturday’s win over the Raiders due to a mild calf strain while Carrigan was out with foot soreness, and the pair will also miss next week’s clash with the Storm.

Despite the Broncos having the chance to secure the Minor Premiership, Walters told The Continuous Call Team they won’t be taking any risks with the star pair.

“They won’t play against the Storm on Thursday night,” Walters said.

“We’ll rest them up, they’re not quite right to go just yet.

“We expect them both to be fit for week one of the finals.”
