Climate action company seeks ‘fart tax’ from Aussie farmers
Climate change and its effects are not going away anywhere near fast enough, as specialist accounting group ClimateClever has called for a potential “fart tax” on Aussie farmers.
On 2GB Drive’s Thrash It Out, ClimateClever’s CEO Dr. Vanessa Rauland argued the case for the methane tax against sheep farmer James Jackson.
“Should we start taxing ourselves for farting and burping? Is that what’s next?”, a bemused Chris O’Keefe asked.
