Senator Hanson outraged over Senate hypocrisy

Clinton Maynard

Luke speaks with Pauline Hanson, Senator for Queensland and leader of Pauline Hanson’s One Nation party, to get her perspective on the most glaring instances of hypocrisy and retaliation witnessed in the Australian Senate yesterday.

Senator Jacinta Nampijimpa Price pushed for a Royal Commission into funds allocated to Aboriginal corporations in their efforts to address the indigenous advancement gap and initiated an inquiry into the mistreatment of indigenous youth.

However, these endeavors were thwarted by the collective opposition from the Greens, ACT Senator David Pocock, and the Labor government.

Luke and Senator Hanson also delve into Labor’s family law proposition, with her expressing her inability to endorse it due to their efforts to eliminate the assumption of joint parental responsibility.
