GOOD NEWS STORY | French tourists’ timely gesture for elderly man
GOOD NEWS STORY: A timely gesture from a group of French tourists was the good news story of the day that Ray Hadley has to share!
“After seeing the Tina Turner Show last Wednesday night, we exited the car park and while turning left from King St onto Castlereagh St, we hit the corner of the bikeway concrete strip,”
“It was very hard to see, and our front left tyre exploded. Five young French visitors saw what happened and followed us around the corner. They ran after us and insisted on changing the Tyre for us. While I could have done it myself, as I’m 77yo , their offer was gratefully accepted. It took them about 10 minutes to change the tyre.
“The only thanks that they wanted, was for us to recognise a good deed done by French visitors and to repay the kindness and warmth that they had received on their visit to Sydney, and Australia. They were amazing and very polite and they will be here for about nine months, and are staying in a hotel near Woolloomooloo.”
