‘You’ve got to be hungry’ – Small Businesses encourages young entrepreneurs
Director of Small Business Australia, Bill Lang, discussed the positive trend of young people venturing into entrepreneurship with Michael McLaren.
He emphasised the importance of learning from others’ mistakes and adapting to the evolving nature of business, particularly with the rise of online ventures.
“I had a professor at the Harvard Business School, who … defined an entrepreneur as someone who relentlessly pursues an opportunity without the available resources. And so you’ve got to be hungry”, Lang explained.
“But for many of the young people starting businesses now, you can get going for a couple of 100 bucks a month”.
