Japan’s airline collision examined

Japan Airlines executives have confirmed that the passenger jet involved in a catastrophic collision with a coastguard plane at Haneda airport in Tokyo had received clearance for landing while reports suggest that police are gearing up to investigate for professional negligence.
Tragically, five individuals aboard the coastguard aircraft lost their lives, while all 379 passengers and crew managed to evacuate safely using emergency slides just moments before the Japan Airlines Airbus was consumed by flames on Tuesday.
