A new study has revealed a concerning lack of preparedness among Australians for extreme weather emergencies.

NRMA Insurance’s recent research found nearly one in three of us lack an understanding of local extreme weather risks, with 60% of home claims resulting from such events.

In response, NRMA Insurance, in partnership with the Red Cross, launched ‘Help Nation’ – a series of over 2000 workshops aimed at educating and preparing communities for weather-related emergencies.
