American book ban now includes dictionaries

During the 2023 summer break in America, 1600 books were removed from a Florida school, including dictionaries and encyclopedias for the first time.
The banned titles range from children’s books like ‘Ripley’s Believe It or Not’ to biographies of figures like Thurgood Marshall and Anne Frank. This move raises questions about the extent of book censorship during school holidays.
