Consciously disconnecting from long-term friends

Clinton Maynard

We don’t usually analyse our long-term friendships until we have a reason to.  But if we look closely at the friendship and find it lacking, how should we respond?

What if you don’t have much in common anymore, and don’t enjoy each other’s company like you did?

Mike is joined by Karina Chapman, Conscious Connection Expert & Dating Coach, who says this happened to her with two of her oldest friends.

Ms Chapman says, “when I caught up with each of them, I felt a strong sense of frustration, and I realised it was because they were both always complaining about their lives, their jobs, their children, their partners, but doing nothing about it.

“As a Conscious Connection Expert, which focuses on attracting positive connections into your life, I eventually made the choice to consciously disconnect from them.”

If your long-term friends leave you feeling frustrated or disappointed, it might be time to disconnect to create space for new positive connections to appear in your life.
