NSW to build 671 new EV charging points across the state

Clinton speaks with Drive.com’s Trent Nikolic about NSW’s plan to install hundreds of kerbside electric vehicle charging points, part of a multimillion-dollar initiative to enhance consumer confidence and uptake.

Climate Change and Energy Minister Penny Sharpe revealed the first recipients of EV kerbside charging grants, announcing 671 charge ports across 16 local government areas.

The government’s $4.1m investment will be matched by $8m in private funds, expanding charging options for motorists lacking personal chargers.
