Gemma Tognini from the Australian raised the issue of the lack of care for babies who survive failed abortions through a testimony of a midwife, who explained what happens to babies born alive after failed abortions in Queensland Hospitals.

2GB Afternoons host Michael McLaren had his say on the sad issue, stating that “every issue is worthy of discussion irrespective of one’s sex, abortion is no exception.”

“As a relatively new father, I read stories like this and I feel shame and deep sadness,” McLaren said on 2GB Afternoons.
