Sheep producers left in the dark about future of industry

Sheep producers are demanding answers from the federal government about their plans for the industry after a ban on the live sheep trade comes into effect.

Farms across Western Australia are undertaking significant de-stocking, after legislation banning exports passed parliament earlier this year.

An independent report into the impacts of the ban recommended the government roll out a support package to make the transition seamless.

Rural Editor Emily Minney caught up with Sheep Producers Australia Director Bindi Murray, who says the industry is yet to see that support
