The Assistant Commissioner of NSW Police, Peter McKenna, says there will be a protest on October 7 in Sydney regarding the Middle East and police will not stop it.

“People (in New South Wales) have the right to public assembly, they have the right to protest. We don’t make those laws, our job is to keep people safe,” McKenna said.
