‘Ball is in the Prime Minister’s court’ – Michaelia Cash takes Albo to task over latest immigration detainee bungle
Michaelia Cash has slammed the latest development in the Albanese Government’s handling of immigration detainees which she says will see over 200 non-citizen criminals out in the community without any monitoring.
She told Michael McLaren the government had assured the Coalition the provisions – now ruled by the High Court to be unconstitutional – were constitutional.
“Peter Dutton has made it clear, the Coalition again stands ready to facilitate the swift passage of any legislation required to fix the government’s mess and keep Australians safe,” she said.
