Farmers and businesses are joining forces to try and turn Australia into a global food superpower.

The Australian Food and Agriculture Industry Taskforce warns the system is at a tipping point with 44 percent of farmers believing we are losing our competitive edge.

Rural Reporter Alexander Nimmo spoke to Chairman Mark Van Dyck about the taskforce’s latest report.
