Aged care overhaul: What it means for residents

Clinton is joined by Craig Gear, Chief Executive of the Older Persons Advocacy Network (OPAN), to discuss the upcoming changes to aged care and their impact on residents.

Many older Australians are feeling confused and uncertain about what these changes will mean for them.

The Aged Care Bill 2024, introduced to Parliament on 12 September 2024, was passed on 25 November 2024 and will come into effect as the new Aged Care Act on 1 July 2025.
