As the world watches wildfires tear through Los Angeles in the United States, Black Summer bushfire victims at home are questioning the lack of progress on an emergency hub announced in 2020.

Back in 2020, the Eurobodalla Council unveiled plans for a $3.9 million Surf Beach emergency services precinct following the destruction of the Black Summer bushfires.
