Legendary singer-songwriter Neil Diamond has announced his retirement from touring after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

Diamond was set to tour Australia in March but his ailing health left him with no choice but to cancel all of his shows.

Ben Fordham speaks with 2GB Entertainment Reporter Peter Ford for the details.

“I’m sure there’s a lot of listeners who are thinking I’m really glad I went to see him a couple of years ago when he was here.

“You’d have to say it’s pretty unlikely he’ll ever tour again.”
