An incredibly rare cosmic trifecta will grace Australia’s skies this evening.

The spectacular will appear from 11pm and is expected to remain visible until 2am Thursday.

It’s the first time in 30 years this kind of lunar eclipse has been seen in Australia, in other parts of the world it’s been as long as 150 years.

Ben Fordham speaks with Weatherzone Meteorologist Ben Domensino to break down what we can expect to see.
