Graham Richardson tells Ray Hadley there’ll be some “sweaty brows in Canberra” following news Deputy PM Barnaby Joyce is expecting a baby with his former staffer.

Graham says the exposure of Mr Joyce’s private life now sets a precedent, and more stories will come.

“It’s all over now. From now on it’s fair game to report extramarital affairs and there are a lot of them.

“I think you’re going to find a lot more of this, and I reckon there’d be a lot of very nervous MPs at the moment.

“There’s a lot of sweaty brows down there now I promise you.”

Graham says there’s a public interest argument if office relations were affected.

“I don’t care what Barnaby Joyce does in his private life, it’s of no interest.

“I might say though… the revelations about the turmoil in the office, they directly affect the work and so I think there is some public interest in that.”
