Nova Radio’s Fitzy and Wippa or ‘Wiffy and Flippa’ as Ray calls them, are good friends of The Ray Hadley Morning Show.

Despite starting his show three hours after the boys, Ray arrives in the car park at the same time, often having a dig at each other in the lift.

Occasionally their banter moves on-air, like when Ray was brought in as a secret weapon to rap battle Bill Shorten.

Today, Fitzy phoned the show to congratulate Ray on the birth of his first grandchild, taking the opportunity to stick the boot in at the same time.

Ray more than held his own though, returning serve with ease.
