From paddock to plate: The cafe taking the food scene by storm
The Three Blue Ducks has taken the food scene by storm, and now they’re heading north.
The cafe opened their doors in Sydney’s eastern suburb of Bronte in 2010, focusing on bringing fresh produce to the plate.
They were an instant success and quickly expanded into Rosebery and Byron Bay.
Now, they have their sights set on Brisbane.
One of the originals Three Blue Ducks, Mark LaBrooy, joins Chris Smith for this week’s Good Tucker.
“The business has definitely grown,” he says.
“There’s not a heap of people who are doing food the same way we’re doing things in Brisbane so we thought, let’s come and have a look.”
Brisbane locals will get their piece of the pie when their new branch launches at the W Hotel on June 1.
