Woman charged over brutal attack on her own sister
A dispute between two sisters has ended violently, with one allegedly stabbed in the forehead.
At about 3.20pm on Monday, a 51-year-old woman turned up at Glebe Police Station, in Sydney’s inner west, suffering the wound.
She was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for treatment but has since been released.
The victim’s 46-year-old sister was arrested at Woolloomooloo at around 1.15am today and has since been charged with assault.
She’s been refused bail and will front court today.
Police say the two sisters got into an argument before things turned physical.
