Man critical after two people stabbed in Sydney’s north
Two people are in hospital, with one in a critical condition, after being stabbed at a unit in Sydney’s north.
Worried neighbours called police to the unit block on Peats Ferry Road at Asquith at about 10.30 last night, after hearing a heated argument.
Officers arrived to find a 28-year-old woman lying on the floor with a stab wound.
She was treated at the scene then taken to Hornsby Hospital where she remains in a stable condition.
A 32-year-old woman and 33-year-old man were arrested at the unit.
As investigations continued, police discovered another man had turned up to hospital with critical stab wounds and is believed to have been at the same unit.
He’s in intensive care but is understood to be improving.
The victims will be questioned by police, although interpreters are needed.
