Police search for siege gunman following murder in Brisbane’s north
Police have revealed a man on the run after a murder in Brisbane’s north is the same man behind the 2013 Queen Street Mall siege.
Officers were called to Murrumba Downs yesterday following reports of a man with serious stab wounds to his face and chest.
Paramedics attended the scene but 41-year-old Nathan Frazer could not be revived.
Police are now looking for 39-year-old Lee Hillier (pictured) who is well-known to the authorities and knew the victim.
In 2013, Hillier sent the Queen Street Mall into lockdown when he pulled a gun on a police officer leading to a dramatic 90-minute siege.
He was later sentenced to four-and-a-half years jail for the crime.

It’s believed Hillier is still in Brisbane and police are urging him to come forward and surrender.
He’s described as Caucasian, heavily tattooed, around 180cm tall, with a solid build.
Police are warning the public to not approach Hillier under any circumstances but to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
