NSW Police are targeting drivers on Sydney motorways for illegal phone use.

A number of the culprits have been truck drivers.

Ray Hadley says while most trucks have Bluetooth, “they don’t use it”.

NSW Police Chief Inspector Phil Brooks sent Ray photos (see below) showing truckies using their phones illegally while driving on the M5 on Wednesday.

According to The Daily Telegraph drivers have been caught on camera applying makeup, eating breakfast and even studying textbooks behind the wheel.

What’s worse is that under state legislation, it’s not illegal.
